lethaltrails.com is run by George K. Kostakis, the author of Lethal Trails. You can reach him at [email protected]. He is responsible for the personal data described below.
The site and the free Case 0 game are offered as they are, for personal use. The puzzles, stories, drawings and texts belong to the author. Please do not copy them, republish them or use them in other products without written permission. Sharing your result and a link to the game is welcome.
The book is sold by Amazon. Orders, payments and deliveries are between you and Amazon, under Amazon's own terms.
If you play without leaving an email, nothing about you is sent to us. Your progress, times and moves stay in your own browser (local storage) and you can clear them at any time by clearing the site's data.
If you leave your email to unlock grids 2 to 7, we keep:
We do not keep your times, your moves, your name or your IP address with it.
We use your email to keep a list of players who reached grid 2. If you ticked the news box, we may also send you an occasional email when a new case or book is out. That use rests on your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time, which does not affect any email sent before. If you did not tick the box, you will not get news from us.
We do not sell, rent or give your email to anyone, and we do not use it for advertising profiles.
The list is stored with Cloudflare, which hosts this site and processes the data on our behalf. Cloudflare may process data outside the European Union, under the safeguards it provides for such transfers. We keep your email until you ask us to delete it, or until we stop the list.
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop receiving news. Write to [email protected] from the address concerned and it will be done. If you think your data is mishandled, you can also complain to your data protection authority; in Greece that is the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr).
The site sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. The fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your browser's request for them.
If these terms change, the new version will be on this page with a new date.
